I called a local appliance repair company in 2004 and asked if they were hiring. “Do you have any experience?” I was asked, but I didn’t. Two months later, I was being trained on the job by other technicians and told I could go out on my own. Despite the fact that other trainees had started before me, I was told that “some people pick it up faster than others.”
After all these years, I’ve decided to bring all of my knowledge and start my own business to help people put warm meals on the table, cold beverages in their fridges, and clean clothes in their closet. Starting with basic models, I progressed to repairing high-end and specialty appliances.
